Yogini Tatiyana ji
Tatiana started studying the philosophy of yoga, Zen Buddhism and Tantra 20 years ago, when her family did not even have a mobile phone. Dad worked as a simple miner underground. And mother is a vocal and piano teacher. Tatiana started studying music at the age of 4.
As for the philosophy of yoga, it all started with a banal attempt to lose weight. And nothing worked. Weightlifting, exhausting dancing, running— nothing helped. She accidentally read the book "Alone in the Ocean", which was a reason to think about studying Pranayama. The book tells about a man who gained such strength with the help of pranayama and yoga exercises that he was able to swim across the ocean. Tatiana also wanted to swim across the ocean or at least lose weight. From that moment, her journey into yoga and pranayama began. She was 16. Fortunately, the experience of vocal lessons helped to master breathing exercises with ease.
With the help of breathing exercises, she managed to lose 15 kilograms in just 3 months. In just 3 months, it was possible to influence the state of all 5 elements of the body in such a way that there was no turning back. Breathing is the main thing in any philosophy. Take the psychology of Eric Berne, Errickson's hypnosis, the meditations of Thai Buddhists, Himalayan yogis, or the sensual practices of Tantric masters. In any philosophical current, you will find that breathing is the main character of all your 5 elements, regardless of which side of the equator you are on.
Going deeper into the study of human philosophy, Tatiana traveled to different places and collected precious spiritual and bodily knowledge, studied with the best professors in her field.
— on a long ascetic pilgrimage to Orthodox monasteries. Preferably significant places of St. Nicholas;
— lived in an Osho Ashram with a master and received a valid initiation and the right to teach Osho meditation to people of different cultures from his hands;
— During her life in the Ashram and constant practice, she observed that people misunderstand meditation techniques and often come to negative delayed results. This became the reason to study a psychology at the Moscow Academy of Sexology. The education received helps to conduct each lesson at a high professional level and monitor the mental state of each person.
For Tatiana, it is important to have her own approach to each person and the depth of a person's immersion in the meditation process. All people are unique.
— completed a course of psycho-body-oriented therapy.
Tatiana works with topics such as
— suppressed aggression and anger,
— jealousy,
— the trauma of rejection,
— self-loathing,
— separation from mom,
— separation from the dad,
— the inner child healing,
— codependent relationships.
She is also a certified yoga teacher in the style of Sivananda yoga. While living in India, she trained as a Vedic astrologer from hereditary Brahmins, which also helps to see a person from different angles during a consultation, class or retreat and help solve their problem.
At Tarang yoga ashram since the beginning of existence, Tatiana handles organizational issues and conducts thematic retreats with an extensive excursion program in Rishikesh and India. Russian language retreats are also conducted and she is a translator from English to Russian during teacher training courses.
She conducts classes in a combined style, depending on the needs of a person or a group. She works in the style of
- contact improvisation of the body and voice,
- using techniques of tao,
- tantra practices,
- yoga of voice,
- different techniques of meditation,
- tantra dance-therapy (lvl 1-8),
- auto-training and Errickson's hypnosis,
- art-therapy and mantra chanting with guitar.
In 2014, she published the book "The Holy Sinner" about spiritual journey one lost girl. By order of the publishing house.
Tatiana's childhood motto: a person has no age and the soul has no gender.
Tatiana's motto is adult: Freedom is responsibility.
«Our life consists of five elements. Fire, water, earth, air and ether (or space). All the elements form both the spiritual and the material component of life. Interestingly, the symbols of the elements have different meanings in different cultures. Can we compare green and cold? Is it possible to say that the color of an object and the state of an object are the same thing? Of course, if we see a green apple, it does not mean at all that it is hot or cold. The same can be said about the perception of life by Asians and Europeans.
The equator separated us. On one side of the equator, the moon looks to the right, on the other side — to the left. The number of people migrating from Asia to Europe and from Europe to Asia is not surprising either. Curiosity is the first reason why a European comes to yoga and discovers the Bhagavad Gita. Curiosity is the reason why people in India, Thailand, and China dream of visiting Europe and getting to know another culture better. Get to know the other side of yourself. To look beyond the equator of your own soul. To answer the question "who am I", Europeans turn to psychology and psychotherapy. Hindus are closer to the chakra system, meditation and yoga. The conclusion already suggests itself that in order to answer the question "Who am I", a person simply needs to study all possible aspects: the psychology of the European approach, the Indian chakra system. There will be a lot of different teachers and lessons along the way. All the teachers are just your reflection. »
See you in the yoga room or on the dusty streets of India and Nepal, with love, Tatiana.
